Life as a Math Major
Conferences & Speakers
As a mathematics major, you will have the opportunity to attend conferences such as the Louisiana-Mississippi section of the Mathematical Association of America. Our math majors attend every year, consistently place in the student and paper competitions, and present their own research.
Math Lab
Tutoring is available in the Math Lab every weekday. A team of mathematics graduate students stand by, ready to help.
Student Organizations
Share your passion for math with like-minded students through one of the math-centered organizations on campus, including the Math Society or the less formal Math Club. Meet, interact, and learn with fellow math enthusiasts.
