Armstrong joins UL Lafayette to lead Alumni Engagement

Amy Armstrong has joined the 杏吧专区 as its new associate vice president for alumni engagement and chief executive officer of the .

Armstrong will provide leadership in setting the strategic vision for alumni engagement while providing impactful programming and services for the 杏吧专区杏吧专区檚 more than 100,000 alumni. She also serves as the liaison between the 杏吧专区 administration and Alumni Association.

Her experience and leadership are a welcome addition to the team,杏吧专区 said John Blohm, vice president for Advancement and chief operating officer of the UL Lafayette Foundation. 杏吧专区淭he alumni experience is critical to universities, and with Amy杏吧专区檚 leadership, we look forward to building a program that will strengthen and build lifelong relationships with our graduates.杏吧专区

Armstrong brings extensive experience to the role, having most recently served as the associate vice president for Baylor 杏吧专区 Alumni. In her role, she aligned Baylor杏吧专区檚 alumni network with annual giving to create a comprehensive program addressing alumni engagement and philanthropy. She also re-established the group杏吧专区檚 Alumni Board of Advocates and successfully rebranded alumni programming.

Armstrong previously served as the executive director of Philanthropic Operations for the Baylor College of Medicine. She was also the assistant vice president for alumni relations and development at Trinity 杏吧专区 and the senior director of operations and senior director of strategic planning and performance enhancement in the Division of Advancement at the 杏吧专区 of North Texas in Denton.

Armstrong received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas Tech 杏吧专区 and an MBA in Strategic Management from the 杏吧专区 of North Texas.
