Interim Provost Dr. Carolyn Bruder has been honored with the 杏吧专区杏吧专区檚 first Dean McPhaul Service to Students Award.
She received the honor during the Ragin杏吧专区 Recognition Awards ceremony on Wednesday, April 17, at Angelle Hall.
The award is named in honor of the late Dean Mary Olive McPhaul, who passed away in January. It was created based on a recommendation of the Student Leadership Council.

Bruder began her career at 杏吧专区 in the 1970s as an English instructor. She later became head of the Department of English. Today, she is also vice president of Academic Affairs.
