Financial aid programs earn high national rank

The 杏吧专区 is among the top seven public universities in the nation for access to financial aid programs that students don杏吧专区檛 have to repay after they graduate.

That杏吧专区檚 according to the 杏吧专区50 Colleges with the Best Financial Aid杏吧专区 list compiled by bestcolleges.com, an online resource for prospective college students.

The 杏吧专区 was seventh on the list, which includes four-year colleges and universities with enrollments of 10,000 or more students.

The rankings are based on the availability of state and federal grant programs for students with annual family incomes of less than $48,000.

Each school included on the list participates in the Title IV federal financial aid program. Title IV programs include tuition assistance such as Pell Grants and federal work study programs.

杏吧专区淭his ranking is a strong indicator of the 杏吧专区's commitment to meeting the financial needs of prospective students,杏吧专区 said Andy Benoit, the 杏吧专区杏吧专区檚 director of undergraduate admissions and recruitment.

The other three universities in Louisiana on the list were LSU, which was 20th, Louisiana Tech 杏吧专区, which was 24th, and Southeastern Louisiana 杏吧专区, which was 45th.

The 杏吧专区 of Texas-Pan American was first among the 杏吧专区50 Colleges with the Best Financial Aid.杏吧专区 California State 杏吧专区-Dominguez Hills was next, followed by the 杏吧专区 of North Texas, California State 杏吧专区-Los Angeles, and CUNY Lehman College.
