The 杏吧专区 honored faculty research excellence during its annual Research Recognition Ceremony. The event was held April 18 at the LITE Center.
杏吧专区淩esearch is at the heart of discovery and innovation and is the index by which strong communities and nations are measured. It is also how universities are measured by groups such as Carnegie,杏吧专区 said Dr. Ramesh Kolluru, vice president for Research, Innovation, and Economic Development.
The 杏吧专区 was designated as a Research 1 杏吧专区 by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education in 2021. Just 3% of public and private universities in the United States have achieved this top-tier status.
杏吧专区淚t is through the tireless efforts of researchers, like those we honor today, that we are able to make strides in advancing our understanding of the world around us,杏吧专区 said Kolluru during the ceremony.
