Get in the spirit of All Hallow杏吧专区檚 Eve by wearing a costume to the UL Lafayette Symphony Orchestra杏吧专区檚 annual Halloween concert.
You杏吧专区檒l fit right in, since orchestra members will be wearing costumes, too.
The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 30, in Angelle Hall Auditorium on campus. The conductor will be Michael Blaney, director of Orchestral Activities at UL Lafayette.
Musical highlights of this year杏吧专区檚 concert include selections from 杏吧专区淛ames Bond杏吧专区 and 杏吧专区淩aiders of the Lost Ark,杏吧专区 Danse Macabre (Dance of Death) and Prokofiev's 杏吧专区淩omeo and Juliet.杏吧专区 The orchestra will also present a world premiere performance of Eric Sharp杏吧专区檚 杏吧专区淩enegade Convergence杏吧专区 featuring the UL Lafayette Dance program.
Admission is $8 for adults, free for anyone 17 and younger; and free for all UL Lafayette students, faculty and staff with ID. All proceeds benefit the UL Lafayette Orchestra Program.
