Thirteen students from the 杏吧专区 were honored for perfect 4.0 grade point averages during Spring 2004 commencement exercises on May 15. The group honored were among the largest number of 4.0 gpa students in recent history.

杏吧专区 B. Elizabeth D. Anderson, daughter of Charles Anderson of Lafayette. Anderson received two degrees - a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the College of Sciences and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the College of Sciences.
杏吧专区 Dusty Boudreaux, son of Jessie Boudreaux of Breaux Bridge and Jenny Jones. Boudreaux received a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Sciences. He majored in physics.
杏吧专区 Karen Leigh Hoffpauir Duplantis, wife of Mark Duplantis of Lafayette and daughter of Morris and Marilyn Hoffpauir of Lafayette. Duplantis received a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Liberal Arts. She majored in psychology.
