�Ӱ�ר���The elementary education program allowed me to walk into real classrooms as early as my freshman year. From the get-go, I was able to observe great teachers and get ideas from their classrooms that still help me today.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���Art is a place for imagination, and I love to live in my imagination. There are a lot of things to love about being an art education major.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I always wanted to work with kids. Middle school is such a hard time, and they need qualified teachers.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I love how the education program at UL Lafayette provided us with so many different opportunities to get hands-on experience with the local schools. It�Ӱ�ר���s prepared me to eventually have my own classroom by studying veteran teachers.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���They always say to do what you liked to do as a child, and I spent lots of time teaching stuffed animals in my bedroom.�Ӱ�ר���

"UL Lafayette pushes us to bring more to the curriculum. The curriculum says to do this, but how can we do more? We want to add to and enhance our lessons. You can�Ӱ�ר���t just read a book about teaching �Ӱ�ר��� you have to get your hands dirty. It�Ӱ�ר���s not an easy career choice, and this program is not easy. It�Ӱ�ר���s worth it, though.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���My passion for reading and writing has fueled my interest in English education, and I hope to inspire a similar sense of passion in my future students. I am excited to begin using my love for reading and writing to instill literacy skills that will assist my students in reaching their full potential.�Ӱ�ר��� 

�Ӱ�ר���My husband was in the military, and then after he retired we moved back to Louisiana. I always wanted to finish school, so UL Lafayette just seemed like the logical choice because it was right here.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���One of the things I love most is getting students to really enjoy music with the hopes of developing a lifelong love of music�Ӱ�ר��� like really getting them to enjoy the process of making music. It�Ӱ�ר���s exciting to teach them about that world.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I want to teach high school because a lot of the teachers I had in high school were people I needed at that time �Ӱ�ר��� and I wanted to be that for my students.�Ӱ�ר���
