�Ӱ�ר���I am in a position to be able to expose our students to our unique French dialect and culture. One of the reasons that parents choose French immersion for their kids is due to their desire for their children to learn their heritage language, Louisiana French.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���My experience in the Cajun & Creole Studies program has given me a sense of self-confidence because, being a Cajun and growing up in the heart of Cajun country, I have a unique experience and knowledge that I can bring to the table, especially in the world of Francophone studies.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I think the French program at UL Lafayette is in a unique position that no other American university can quite match. We, as French-learning students, have access to a unique kind of French that is spoken nowhere else in the world.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���Anyone can benefit from developing reasoning and critical thinking skills and learning to see things from multiple perspectives. I also chose philosophy to have a better sense and of who I am and what I believe."

�Ӱ�ר���UL Lafayette�Ӱ�ר���s mechanical engineering program is renowned across the South. And what better language to learn for engineering than German? Germany has some of the most well-known companies in machinery and automotives in the world.�Ӱ�ר���  

�Ӱ�ר���A lot of people think learning German is intimidating, but Dr. Huey immediately destroys that illusion with her patience, enthusiasm, and experience.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I founded my tennis academy back in my hometown to continue to teach great values that I learned at UL Lafayette �Ӱ�ר��� dedication, teamwork and, the most important of all, like former coach Holden would say: follow your passions.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���That�Ӱ�ר���s one thing that I really love the most is that no matter who you talk to on campus, they�Ӱ�ר���re always going to be open minded and wanting to talk to you and help you out.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I work with departments across McIlhenny Company to make sure that the software and databases being used are functioning correctly.�Ӱ�ר���
