�Ӱ�ר���At a low point in my life years ago, I was given a second chance at life. I am majoring in Human Development & Family Science because I needed to give back and help to educate and advocate for those families that are struggling or are in crisis.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���Becoming comfortable with the balance between studying film design and actually creating film content myself was super important to me �Ӱ�ר��� and I was confident that I would find that within the Moving Image Arts program.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���Our entire program is dedicated to preparing us for our job. Rather than taking tests and doing homework, we go out into the field and write stories like real reporters. I feel confident in my craft and I learn something new about journalism every single day.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���What I do today affects the people who come tomorrow. That�Ӱ�ר���s very much the same thing with government: it takes time today, but it�Ӱ�ר���s going to be better for tomorrow.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���This program and Moot Court have prepared me very well for being able to see both sides of an issue, making case briefs, writing appellate briefs, and being able to argue and think on my feet �Ӱ�ר��� all of the really invaluable things for what's to come in law school.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���No matter how far away I travel in the future or how much time passes, I will ALWAYS be a proud Ragin�Ӱ�ר��� Cajun and will sing the praises of my UL Lafayette education to everyone I meet.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���Take every opportunity. You can start doing internships your first summer after your freshman year. Just get yourself out there. �Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I fell in love with the power of social media as a low- to no-cost opportunity for small businesses to share their story.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I chose to study sociology because I was always fascinated with the subject, ever since I took it in high school. I wanted to learn how society affects the way individuals think, act, and react to different issues. Since being in the program, I have become more passionate about sociology.�Ӱ�ר��� 

�Ӱ�ר���Our university consists of many different clubs, activities, and interests that brings students together and help them get involved. There are many different factors about UL Lafayette that met my ideal expectations of the perfect university to help me achieve my goals.�Ӱ�ר���
