�Ӱ�ר���The day I decided that interior design was where I wanted to be was the first time I actually felt excited for college.�Ӱ�ר���

"The Department of Petroleum Engineering provides students with certifications that are needed to begin immediately working in the industry, exposing students to a variety of software applications that are used industry-wide, hands-on laboratories, and regular tours to rigs and other oil and gas-related facilities. I'm leaving the program with the skills and knowledge I need to have a successful career in oil and gas.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I was interested in health information management since I knew I wanted to work in the healthcare setting, but clinical care wasn�Ӱ�ר���t for me. I love learning how to handle patient data and working with files and EHRs (electronic health records). I feel like I am actually going to make a difference in the business side of the medical field.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���The dance program at UL Lafayette showed me there are a million opportunities for work in the field of dance outside of the realm of performance, including teaching, choreographing, arts administration, dance history, lighting, and costuming. UL Lafayette showed me how to find these opportunities, network, and market myself as a working professional in the field of dance no matter which avenue I decide on.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I know that I want to be in the business world and that this major provides me with many options for a career.�Ӱ�ר��� 

"My favorite part of studying at UL Lafayette is the community of friends and classmates I�Ӱ�ר���ve built since arriving here. Almost all math majors know each other and are friends. Additionally, I�Ӱ�ר���ve been able to make friends beyond the walls of Maxim Doucet thanks to the minors I am pursuing.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I chose to study mechanical engineering because I enjoy problem-solving and helping people. Plus, I've always enjoyed building things and I have an aptitude for math. UL Lafayette�Ӱ�ר���s engineering program really drew me in when I came to tour the �Ӱ�ר��.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���Everyone here wants you to succeed and lets you know that they are here to help. All of my professors have been amazing at both communicating and creating a learning environment that is full of discussion and creativity.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���Becoming comfortable with the balance between studying film design and actually creating film content myself was super important to me �Ӱ�ר��� and I was confident that I would find that within the Moving Image Arts program.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I�Ӱ�ר���m learning a lot. I already feel like I�Ӱ�ר���m more comfortable in the classroom, and I�Ӱ�ר���m finding my teaching style. I�Ӱ�ר���m very happy that I get full-year student-teaching experience �Ӱ�ר��� you get to know the students better, and now they know me, they trust me. They understand that I�Ӱ�ר���m also learning, and they want to help me run the class as best I can.�Ӱ�ר���
