�Ӱ�ר���The idea that I would get to study so intensely the subjects and questions that flooded my mind daily �Ӱ�ר��� how to govern a society, what kinds of governments certain societies favor, how specific policies affect these societies, and the philosophies behind those policies �Ӱ�ר��� I couldn�Ӱ�ר���t wait to enroll and begin my journey with higher education in this department.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I�Ӱ�ר���ve always loved hearing and telling stories. It�Ӱ�ר���s manifested itself in my art, my stand-up comedy, and my love of reading and writing. The creative writing program at UL Lafayette allows me to take my love of stories and turn it into a degree.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���Not only has my experience in the psychology department helped me to understand people with intellectual disabilities, but it has also taught me that my educational background in psychology can be applied anywhere, especially in the realm of teaching.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I strongly believe that a liberal arts degree is incredibly important. It helps you see things critically and let you think across all disciplines, a skill which comes in handy throughout life.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I am in a position to be able to expose our students to our unique French dialect and culture. One of the reasons that parents choose French immersion for their kids is due to their desire for their children to learn their heritage language, Louisiana French.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���My experience in the Cajun & Creole Studies program has given me a sense of self-confidence because, being a Cajun and growing up in the heart of Cajun country, I have a unique experience and knowledge that I can bring to the table, especially in the world of Francophone studies.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I think the French program at UL Lafayette is in a unique position that no other American university can quite match. We, as French-learning students, have access to a unique kind of French that is spoken nowhere else in the world.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I chose to study criminal justice because the system has always fascinated me while growing up, and I want to be able to make a difference in my community.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I�Ӱ�ר���m passionate about working with adults who have experienced strokes or traumatic brain injuries. The opportunity to walk alongside a patient and their family on their road to recovery, helping them regain their ability to communicate, is an experience unlike any other.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���My first semester of my freshman year I was in the first Arabic class at UL Lafayette �Ӱ�ר��� quite an honor, I might say �Ӱ�ר��� and I just fell in love with it immediately.�Ӱ�ר���
