�Ӱ�ר���I was a kid in a candy store, from a mechanical engineering side. I was really lucky to be able to see all of that equipment opened up, learning about those large rotating pieces of equipment that kept the plant up and running.�Ӱ�ר���

"My favorite part about being at UL Lafayette would definitely be being a part of the Ragin�Ӱ�ר��� Cajuns Water Ski team. I�Ӱ�ר���ve been lucky to have a great team and a very successful team �Ӱ�ר��� we've won two national titles (while I�Ӱ�ר���ve been on the team).�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���(NASA) put me to work on the lunar module. This was in the middle of Gemini, so they hadn't begun to fly the Apollo vehicles yet. I started at the ground level of developing the mechanics for flying the lunar module.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���UL Lafayette�Ӱ�ר���s mechanical engineering program is renowned across the South. And what better language to learn for engineering than German? Germany has some of the most well-known companies in machinery and automotives in the world.�Ӱ�ר���  

�Ӱ�ר���This field of study could lead you to work on an oil rig, any type of production plant, or even doing cost analysis for a large-scale construction project. There are so many opportunities that come with this major �Ӱ�ר��� the options are endless, really.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���With the help of the professors and their vast knowledge, this major will prepare anyone who goes through it to succeed in the world.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���The industrial sector can be made safer for the environment, and although a peculiar route, I believe that chemical engineering holds the key to an eco-friendly industry in the future. I hope to better our environment in any way I can, and I believe this is the best major for that.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���We hope other installations can see what we�Ӱ�ר���ve done and emulate that. Mitigating the risk from severe weather is going to protect our people. They are our most important resource.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I found that there was a community of electrical engineering students �Ӱ�ר��� and I do not just mean the people I took classes with. I was able to meet so many people who were above me who have left a lasting impression with the advice they gave me, and I will continue the cycle.�Ӱ�ר���
