UL Lafayette is the only university in Louisiana, and one of a handful nationwide, that can examine solar technology outside and in a controlled, laboratory space.
Its new Photovoltaic Applied Research and Testing Laboratory has two sites: a 6-acre array of 4,200 solar panels in ÐÓ°É×¨Çø Research Park, and lab space within campusÐÓ°É×¨Çø™ Rougeau Hall thatÐÓ°É×¨Çø™s filled with equipment that tests how the sun degrades the modules.
