"UL Lafayette pushes us to bring more to the curriculum. The curriculum says to do this, but how can we do more? We want to add to and enhance our lessons. You can�Ӱ�ר���t just read a book about teaching �Ӱ�ר��� you have to get your hands dirty. It�Ӱ�ר���s not an easy career choice, and this program is not easy. It�Ӱ�ר���s worth it, though.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I am in a position to be able to expose our students to our unique French dialect and culture. One of the reasons that parents choose French immersion for their kids is due to their desire for their children to learn their heritage language, Louisiana French.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���My experience in the Cajun & Creole Studies program has given me a sense of self-confidence because, being a Cajun and growing up in the heart of Cajun country, I have a unique experience and knowledge that I can bring to the table, especially in the world of Francophone studies.�Ӱ�ר���
