�Ӱ�ר���I love being a theatre major because I�Ӱ�ר���m constantly faced with creative problem-solving and hands-on learning. Focusing on design and tech allows me to fulfill my passion of combining aesthetic sensibilities with very technical skills.�Ӱ�ר���

"I think a passion grows for a particular medium when you create with it because you begin to understand it more. You develop a respect for it and the artists that use it. At Fletcher Hall, you are constantly surrounded by artists and their work. I think that has a strong positive effect on creating that passion for the arts.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���Instead of litigating in the court room, I�Ӱ�ר���m on the ground in various states working in the court of public opinion.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I loved how supportive the professors in my program were, truly making us feel supported every step of the way. I loved how each class promoted a sense of open-mindedness and taught us about facing adversity. I feel my program assisted me in learning about not just a future job field, but skills to utilize in relationships and friendships as well.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���UL Lafayette really wants their students to succeed, so they put money into their students. Having scholarships from the �Ӱ�ר�� makes me really proud because it�Ӱ�ר���s like I know they want me to finish �Ӱ�ר��� they want me to succeed.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���It took me six years to finish school. I felt the need to give up at many different points in time, but I�Ӱ�ר���m really glad that I did finish and stuck through with my degree.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���Growing up, I have always wanted to make a difference in the world around me. Civil engineering provides me with the opportunity to affect the lives of those around me on a very large scale, while allowing me to continuously grow as a person.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���The nursing program is a challenging program for a good reason. The Department of Nursing helped me feel empowered to take on this challenge.�Ӱ�ר���

"This major has helped me in many ways. And it's helped me help others. I�Ӱ�ר���m forever grateful for that. It made me realize some things about how I acted and how other people acted, and to be respectful of everyone�Ӱ�ר���s behaviors. We�Ӱ�ר���re all human and everyone works differently. It�Ӱ�ר���s a good program to understand how to work with other people.�Ӱ�ר���

"When I transferred to UL Lafayette, it was the first adult decision that I made on my own and I knew I had made the right decision."
