�Ӱ�ר���I like the nursing program because it�Ӱ�ר���s very hands-on from such an early start. You start going to clinicals your second semester sophomore year. You immediately get to start going into the hospital and find out if you�Ӱ�ר���re actually going to like being a nurse.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���The nursing program is definitely a close-knit group of people. We study together, we go to clinical together, we carpool to the bus stop, and we eat lunch together. By the time you graduate, it�Ӱ�ר���s like having your siblings graduate with you because you spend so much time together.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���Your coursework is a great foundation, but it�Ӱ�ר���s also what the professors bring to it. It�Ӱ�ר���s, �Ӱ�ר���Hey, let�Ӱ�ר���s use a lot of real-world scenarios to learn,�Ӱ�ר��� and that was extremely beneficial.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I honestly never thought that I would enjoy college this much and be as active as I have been. It is not easy, and we definitely struggle through some classes but, thanks to our professors, we know that it will all be worth it in the end.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I was interested in health information management since I knew I wanted to work in the healthcare setting, but clinical care wasn�Ӱ�ר���t for me. I love learning how to handle patient data and working with files and EHRs (electronic health records). I feel like I am actually going to make a difference in the business side of the medical field.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���My favorite part about nursing would have to be the clinical portion. Learning the duties and responsibilities of a nurse is great, but actually performing those activities is completely different. You began to feel as though you�Ӱ�ר���re actually a nurse.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���The nursing program is a challenging program for a good reason. The Department of Nursing helped me feel empowered to take on this challenge.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���The nursing program does a great job preparing us for reality. Nursing is not an easy job and it�Ӱ�ר���s not always pretty, so I love how challenging the program is and feel as though this prepares us for the future.�Ӱ�ר���
