Commuter Students

Commuter students have several options for parking:

  • Semester Permits

    • Cajun Field/Commuter Lot
      • All vehicles parked at Cajun Field must obtain a free commuter parking permit through their parking account. Busses and shuttle operation hours are available at Transit Schedule.
      • Cajun Field commuter permits are not night permits or permits to park on campus at any time.
    • Girard Park Circle Parking Garage floors 3-6
      • Permit-only parking. Permits are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. $350 for fall or spring semester and $125 for the summer.
    • Zone 17C Commuter Permit
      • Permit-only parking. Permits are available on a first come, first serve basis. $40 for fall or spring semester and $20 for the summer.
    • Wilson Street Lot
      • Permit-only parking. Permits are available a first come, first serve basis with a very limited supply available. Permits are $250 for fall or spring semester and not offered for the summer.
    • 147 St. Patrick Street Lot
      • Permit-only parking. Permits are available a first come, first serve basis with a very limited supply available. Permits are $80 for fall or spring semester and not offered for the summer.
    • Health Science Campus
      • Permit-only parking.
        • Garage at 611 St. Landry Street.
        • Parking lot at 147 St. Patrick Street
      • Continuous loop shuttle service available to various locations on campus.
    • Night Permits

  • Hourly Parking via ParkMobile

    • Girard Park Circle Parking Garage Floors 1-3
      • This is an hourly park-and-pay location where individuals are required to pay for time parked using the ParkMobile app, website or phone number.
      • Rates:
        • 1 minute to 2 hours                $5.25
        • Each additional hour              $1.05
    • Mildred Street lot located at 101 Mildred Street - $1.31/hour, no minimum.
    • St. Mary Street lot located at 119 West St Mary Street (across from the Taco Bell entrance) - $1.84/hour, no minimum.
