�Ӱ�ר���Sociology looks at societies as a whole, and how people interact with one another in the communities they have created. I see my minor in gender and sexuality studies as a way to dive deeper and look at two minority groups that have grown stronger throughout our history by supporting others who have faced the same struggles.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���The School of Architecture and Design at UL Lafayette is really committed to exposing us to as much as they can about the study and practice of architecture in our short time as students.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���Without teachers, you don�Ӱ�ר���t have these other jobs, other occupations. I wanted to make a difference in someone�Ӱ�ר���s life and I felt through teaching, that�Ӱ�ר���s my way of changing the world and making my impact on the world.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���My experience at UL Lafayette has helped me apply my Spanish skills within a global company. The creative perspective I gained from these classes is something I apply to projects I manage today at Apple.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���The elementary education program allowed me to walk into real classrooms as early as my freshman year. From the get-go, I was able to observe great teachers and get ideas from their classrooms that still help me today.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I like the nursing program because it�Ӱ�ר���s very hands-on from such an early start. You start going to clinicals your second semester sophomore year. You immediately get to start going into the hospital and find out if you�Ӱ�ר���re actually going to like being a nurse.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���UL Lafayette prides itself on being open to other cultures and communities. I had professors from France, Italy, India, and South Korea. These were important experiences to my development as a young adult and ultimately as a professional.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���Art is a place for imagination, and I love to live in my imagination. There are a lot of things to love about being an art education major.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���The medieval and early modern studies minor is cross-disciplinary in nature, covering classes in philosophy, humanities, English, history, theatre, arts, music, and others, which makes this minor exactly what I needed.�Ӱ�ר���
