�Ӱ�ר���The best parts about the architecture program were the collaborative studios and the studio culture. My classmates became like family while in school.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���There were several people I met in class who gave a guest lecture that I ended up working with on a professional level once I entered my career. Having their business card already in my inventory made it easier to bridge those connections later down the road.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���The idea that I would get to study so intensely the subjects and questions that flooded my mind daily �Ӱ�ר��� how to govern a society, what kinds of governments certain societies favor, how specific policies affect these societies, and the philosophies behind those policies �Ӱ�ר��� I couldn�Ӱ�ר���t wait to enroll and begin my journey with higher education in this department.�Ӱ�ר���

"Lafayette is centered around the school, geographically, but there's just so much to do, there's so many opportunities and the campus is beautiful. The whole atmosphere of being at UL Lafayette is something that you feel. You can feel it, you can understand that you belong here.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���Because of the size of our program, everything is more intimate. Our instructors truly know us and where we want to go. They care about us, break things down to make us better, and they�Ӱ�ר���re really open to helping us."

�Ӱ�ר���I�Ӱ�ר���ve always loved hearing and telling stories. It�Ӱ�ר���s manifested itself in my art, my stand-up comedy, and my love of reading and writing. The creative writing program at UL Lafayette allows me to take my love of stories and turn it into a degree.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I decided to change my major to visual arts because the field of the arts gives me more freedom and flexibility to express myself and to communicate my ideas. I believe my imagery is more effective at communicating the issues that I want to address within my community and the world.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I always wanted to work with kids. Middle school is such a hard time, and they need qualified teachers.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���Just looking back on my childhood and things that I was really interested in and passionate about, that led me to electrical engineering. So, I decided to go ahead and pursue a degree in it, and I am still passionate about it to this day.�Ӱ�ר���

�Ӱ�ר���I love how the education program at UL Lafayette provided us with so many different opportunities to get hands-on experience with the local schools. It�Ӱ�ר���s prepared me to eventually have my own classroom by studying veteran teachers.�Ӱ�ר���
